Who we are

FurniturePickup.nl handles furniture jobs in Amsterdam and Utrecht. No packing boxes, no full house moves, just focused work around furniture: transporting it, collecting it, moving it within a home, or clearing out a space entirely. We work from these two cities and the towns around them, with one straightforward promise: send a photo on WhatsApp and you’ll know where you stand within 5 minutes.

What we do

We offer four services, all built around the same idea: getting furniture where it needs to be without you straining a muscle over it.

Furniture transport covers moving one item, or a full load, from address A to address B. Think of a secondhand sofa you’ve just bought, or a wardrobe heading to your new place.

House clearance covers emptying an entire home, room, or storage unit. This comes up after a bereavement, a separation, or at the end of a tenancy, among other reasons.

Furniture pickup means we come and collect a single item that needs to go, with nothing coming back in its place: an old sofa making way for something new, a mattress that’s had its day.

In-home moves cover shifting a piece of furniture from one room or floor to another within the same property. Useful when the sofa needs to go up to the attic but the house itself doesn’t need to change.

Most companies in this line of work run on quote forms. You fill in how many rooms you have, which floor you live on, whether there’s a lift, exactly what needs moving, and then you wait. Sometimes a day, sometimes longer, before anyone gets back to you with a price.
